Below is a full picture of Darlie's background and how he got into this sad situation..
Darlie and his family were found on the streets in Marsiling by one old aunty on 25th June 2010. He was found along with 3 siblings and his mum. Darlie was around 1 month old. The aunty took them in out of sympathy and could not bear to just turn around and walk away.
She took them in, took care of them and fed them. At the same time she asked the people in the neighbourhood to adopt them. According to the aunty, Darlie had an eye infection since he was a kitten. It was not as serious back then. All of his siblings got adopted except Darlie, due to his eye. Due to the fact that the aunty is facing financial difficulties, and also because of her bad experience with vet, she did not seek medical attention but hope he would get better.

We only knew about Darlie these few days, through a friend who knew the aunty. After much persuasion, she finally agreed to allow Darlie to seek medical help.
We don't blame her as she is an elderly working part time, only earning a few hundred a month and she has so many cats to feed. She lives alone and has no financial support.
Right now we are trying to raise money for Darlie's treatment, we hope people will stand out and help him...
