Injured Bird

its left eye seems injured?

Tried giving seeds, hamster food, rice and even cat food (chicken)! But it doesn't eat

 

looking at the outside world...

its eye is like can barely open

Poor bird, it was found on the staircase barely moving. We first noticed it when we saw someone kicked it aside! Brought it home even though we are totally clueless about nursing birds. First day, it was most of the time resting with eyes closed, the next day it seems more alert, and started to flap his wings a little.

So we thought it wants to fly and let it out... it flew a bit then rested on the floor for like hours... Then as we thought it still could not fly, we tried to lift it back to the cage... and it flew out of the house! But it landed on the small drain downstairs, and not able to move )= we thought it might be the rain so we try again later, this time bringing it downstairs. It did not fly at first but after awhile, knowing its freed of its cage, he flew... (= he flew to the tree opposite and it flew quite high so we supposed it got better. It was a happy moment to see him fly.
