Recently, we have heard some cases of cat abuse. Cutting and plucking off the cat's whiskers seems to be most common. The two kittens in the pictures above are clear example of whiskers been plucked off and one even has a fractured leg, suspected to be beaten up. Another case would be Bobby rescued recently (up for adoption) whose whiskers were cut off.

Who in the world with a normal state of mind would do such a thing to these defenseless feline kittens and what joy do they gain from such cruel acts? Apparently they must be mentally challenged. Humans deprived the animals of their natural habitats and many of them are forced to live among humans in the cities, streets, drains and etc. They were sad enough to end up in this stage yet many people out there are still pushing them further beyond their limits. They are simply defenseless and could not voice out to complain like us which makes them an easy target for abuse, anger venting, amusement and etc. The lucky ones will be spotted by kind souls who will took them in to nurse. The not so fortunate ones will be left to suffer from injuries caused by the abuser and eventually go to the other world. 

As saddening as it seems, many of these animal abuser still get away scott-free. We urge all of you to be more vigilant and upon sighting an animal abuse act, please contact the authorities and bring justice to the cats. Best if video of the abuse is taken before going to the police and SPCA as a proof. Let animals abuser be severely dealt with the law.
