Mei Mei adopted!
Remember her?
We are very happy for Mei Mei as she was adopted and found a really good home =). We believe Mei Mei will likes her new home!
A potential rescue team
A week of busy rescuing and re-homing. We do not even have time to rest well but everything is worthwhile when we see the animals safe and sound.
Of all the rescue work, one is special. We provided pet transportation for two lovely dogs, Kiona and Lasya to west coast park for a morning exercise. The owner Mr.H came along.
After waiting for awhile, they came back and were ready to head back to their house. We then heard a continuous meowing from somewhere. Mr.H traced the sound and managed to spot a kitten hiding under a drain. We tried to lure the kitten with food but failed. Then we used a broom stick, borrowed from the maintenance uncle from the park, to slowly push the kitten out. While pushing the kitten out, Mr.H was waiting at the other end getting ready to use one of the towel he brought to catch the kitten. Everything was a success! The kitten was caught and we are glad to say that it is in healthy condition and now available for adoption! Working with our customer to rescue cats indeed can form a great team too!

Photos of Bandit updated
Bandit is about 1 year old, a male cat still in search of a loving home. He can be very very shy but as one gets to know him better, he can be very playful and cheeky too! He is totally friendly with people and fellow cat friends.
Do consider bringing Bandit home! (=

Kitten rescued from Lavender
Warning!
Loads of cute photos ahead!!
Sigh...
Anyway, this male baby who is estimated to be about 3 to 4 weeks old, is under our care.
Though he just started learning to eat wet food, he requires milk to be fed on a daily basis until he is 3 to 4 months old to make up for the loss of nutrients from mummy's milk. Needs load of time and attention as the adopter would be the new "mummy" to him...
Loads of cute photos ahead!!
sleeping with mouth opened
ready to jump!
How adorable is he????
This poor baby was found abandoned at the doorstep of an elderly lady caregiver on Tuesday morning. Not strange, cos we guess the meaning behind the person's action is to leave the kitten in the lady's care.... Which is pretty much due to the person's knowledge that the lady loves cat and assumes she wouldn't leave it in the lurch. Sigh...

Hiroki kitty
Hiroki
Hiroki is now under our care, hoping to be able to find him a suitable home soon! He is really sweet as he likes to follow us around... Tend to gently climb to your shoulder and lick your face. Extremely sweet baby (:
Think he likes the company of people which may be due to his 'mummy' being a lady who nursed him to perfect health ever since she found him when he was just 2 days old. Also like the company of other cats too!
He's got this droopy eyes which make him even more unique and cute.
Do consider giving Hiroki a home!
Tofu Boy - A cancer stricken and paralysed cat
Tofu Boy is a cancer stricken and paralysed cat. We picked him up for boarding on Saturday.
He is not able to walk as he is suffering from cancer of the lymph nodes which results to lumps and paralysis from the lower body down. He could not move his hind legs at all. So most of the time he is lying down. We had to clean him up each time he did his business as he will just pee and poo in any position.
Whenever we clean him and held him in our hands, we can feel how much pain he is in. But from his eyes, we can tell how much he longs for your affection and love even in such pain. No doubt he cannot move his back leg, he would still try to crawl towards us with his hands and rub against us.
Whenever we see our other cats roaming freely and when we look at Tofu Boy half motionless, its really saddening... Like why must this happen to him and he is just 2 to 3 years old. Still so young and suffering from all these with not much time left... ); While outside, he often wants to crawl out from his carrier to look at the grass fields and surroundings.
We know that he wants to get up on his legs and start running again. We feel really sad and sorry seeing him in such state. Fosterer does not feel optimistic even with chemotherapy... maybe from the doctor's experience, its a risk.... Hopefully, just hopefully, he will overcome all odds and get back on his feet again!
All the best, Tofu Boy!
Comparison
Ok we are more convinced that this kitten found, is a cross of Maine Coon which a friend of ours own one. Her name is Lu-a will try to take a photo of her later today during pet sitting!
Actual Maine Coons:
Our Maine Coon cross found:
A bit similar in the mane at the face and chest area?
