Existing cats friendliness with new cats

Our cats are so used to new cats they are totally friendly and harmless... They don't even blink an eye when newcomers arrive!

And can sleep together like family members ^.^

Taken when we saw them lying together on their own accord ! Its within 5 days Oliver and Spot were first introduced before they got so comfortable with each other.

Of cos in the beginning things were not so perfect. Initially without fail there was hissing and scratching but gradually they got calmer as they make friends with more cats.. And it turned into more of endless sniffing when new cats are sighted... And now its like they don't even bother to sniff a new cat (O.o) Was able to unexpectedly achieve this after a long long while... Guess socialisation works wonder! It helps prevent a lot of unnecessary stress (=

So yea, we do think its very possible for cats to make friends just that they need some time. Just a matter of long or short depending on the cats (=

Unforgettable Retriever

Was also the day this 3 yrs old handsome fellow was adopted. On the way back he was barking and whining... Think he knows he was leaving his owner... was really touched by his loyalty.

Will always remember this very special Golden Retriever, Sky!

Glad they found a home with a nice Chinese family of 5 on 29th Dec 2010. Now this 2 siblings can stay together! Happy for them (=

Update about Darlie, nowadays he's so active, we all think that he has split personality!

Before the op he was the laid back and docile Darlie.

After the op he is totally playful and adventurous!

But it is still a good thing becos it means he is actually happy and well enough to be a monkey (;
